Emergency Management Preparedness Assistance Grant (EMPAG)
The Emergency Management Preparedness Assistance Grant (EMPAG) was a one time $1.6 million appropriation from the Washington State Legislature that funded local governments, tribal governments, regional agencies, regional incident management teams and private organizations during State Fiscal Year 2006 for high impact, short-term emergency preparedness projects. This grant ended June 30th 2007.
EMPAG was not renewed for the current state fiscal biennium SFY2007-2009.
