Fire Management Assistance Grant Program (FMAGP) Deadlines

  • 30 days after the Incident Period ends: Applicants submit their initial request for a Request for Fire Management Assistance Subgrant (RFMA) to EMD.
  • Four Months of Incident Period: Applicants must submit their Final Costs Claimed form to EMD. A FEMA/State team will visit to review costs and prepare Project Worksheets (PWs).
  • Six Months of Incident Period: All costs must be finalized and the project worksheets prepared. EMD submits the PWs and documentation to FEMA.
  • Nine Months of Incident Period: Federal regulations provide that all applicants are to be reimbursed and the fire closed within nine months.
