There are over 900 National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Weather Radio stations across the U.S. Twenty-two of these stations broadcast in Washington state.

Each Weather Radio station in Washington tailors programming to meet the needs of those within the listening area. For instance, stations west of the Cascade mountains include marine programming while many stations in eastern Washington include programming for the mountainous areas.
