Fire Management Assistance Grant Program (FMAGP) Funding
The federal government reimburses state, local governmental entities, and federally recognized Indian tribal governments for 75% of their eligible costs for labor, equipment, supplies, mobilization, demobilization, emergency protective measures, arson investigation, and grants management.
Under Category B, Emergency Protective Measures, only overtime costs for regular personnel are eligible. Refer to FEMA’s policies on Donated Resources (#9525.2) and Mutual Aid (#9523.6) for additional information on the impact of these policies on eligible costs.
